Artful Approach

Artful Approach Profile

Shamrock Thoroughbreds is offering the opportunity to become involved in the fun and enjoyment of racehorse ownership through the syndication of Artful Approach.
Artful Approach is a 3yo gelding by Memhas out of Art Festival; currently rated 79. A 31,000 euros purchase at the Goff’s horse in training sale, he comes highly recommended from the Jack Davison yard. The 3yo gelding has shown form on good and soft ground proving to be an extremely versatile horse over various trips.
Managing to get a win and to be placed in the same week at the 2024 Galway Festival, this horse has very much shown to have the class necessary to be an ideal candidate for festival handicaps during for the 2025 season. Along with his liking of the Galway track and a favourable record there, he is a horse we would like to target at all of the big summer festivals in 2025.

WHY INVEST

The main reason for purchasing a share in Artful Approach is to get involved with a high class performer who has the ability to win valuable handicaps next season. Artful Approach is an exciting horse we plan to aim at the big summer festivals in 2025.
The horse will go into training with Stephen Thorne currently based inDunboyne, Co. Meath. Stephen Thorne is one of Ireland’ s newest additions to the racehorse training ranks and this gelding looks assured to represent him well in 2025.

HOW IT WORKS

The syndicate will be divided into 20 shares of 5% each and each shareholder can buy as many shares up to a maximum of 30% or 6 shares. Artful Approach will race under the name of Shamrock Thoroughbreds and will be put into training with Stephen Thorne. A WhatsApp Group will be setup to enhance communication purposes between the syndicate manager Stephen Thorne and each of the 20 shareholders.

PLAN

The current plan with Artful Approach is to give him a break until Christmas. We will then prepare him for an all-weather race at Dundalk in which will serve as a prep run to be in top condition for the start of the 2025 season. He will be targeted at valuable handicap races at various summer festivals but in particular the Galway Festival and in particular the Galway Festival.

COSTS

The cost of purchase for each 5% share is €1,850. This includes the sales purchase price, 5% sales commission, 5% agent commission, 4.8% VAT, vettings/ blood analysis completed.
