Shamrock Thoroughbreds are offering you the opportunity to get involved in our Breeze Up Syndicate and the horses sourced will be prepared by Irelands’ AW Champion Trainer Stephen Thorne.
We are planning to purchase ready-to-run 2yo’s at the upcoming breeze up sales in April and May with the ultimate aim of winning first or second time out and reselling them for a substantial profit.
We have managed to source high quality 2yo’s in recent years from the breeze-up sales including Group 3 and Listed winner Tiger Belle as well as black-type fillies Rush Queen and Shamrock Breeze. We have purchased 10 breeze up horses in the last 3 years for an average spend of £70k, 30% were black-type horses and 70% were maiden winners first or second time out.
With the above plan in mind, we are planning to sell the dream before we purchase at the sales. We are planning to sell 100 units and the more units sold, the more breeze-up horses we will be able to purchase. Each shareholder will be involved in all the horses purchased.
There will be 6 months training fees allocated to each horse purchased. The share price per unit will be €2,500 and each shareholder can purchase as many units as they wish. The equity share percentage per unit will be determined once we determine the total number of units sold.

HOW IT WORKS
The syndicate will be divided into 100 unit shares at €2,500 each and each shareholder can buy as many unit shares as they wish. There will be 6 months training fees allocated to each horse purchased. A.WhatsApp Group will be setup to enhance communication between the syndicate manager Stephen Thorne and the shareholders involved.

COSTS
The cost of purchase for each unit share is €2,500. This includes the sales purchase price, sales
commission, buyer commission, VAT, transport to Stephen Thorne Racing and 6 months training fees for both horses
DIVIDENDS AND AGM
Each shareholder will receive a statement of accounts at the end of the 12 month-term and the sales proceeds and prize money earnings will be divided among each shareholder at the end of the term 1st May 2026.
