MEHMAS X QUICK CHAT
MEHMAS X QUICK CHAT PROFILE
Shamrock Thoroughbreds are offering an exciting opportunity to share in the fun and enjoyment of racehorse ownership through the syndication of an unraced 2yo filly by hot sire Mehmas who has a great Juddmonte pedigree to match.
She was purchased at the recent Doncaster Breeze-Up sale for £60,000 and this filly impressed with a fast and efficient breeze over two furlongs. She was prepared and sold by Mark Grant Racing who does a fantastic job with his Breeze-Up horses.
“She did a very smart breeze and we were impressed with her attitude on the racecourse. She was one of the standouts at the sale, physically. She is a deep girthed filly with lots of strength and a great profile, a real 2yo type. She vetted very well and we are delighted to have secured her.”, commented Stephen Thorne, managing director of Shamrock Thoroughbreds.
This filly will be sent to top trainer Ado McGuinness and he commented, “It is a pleasure to train this filly and hopefully she can do well for her new shareholders involved in Shamrock Thoroughbreds”.

WHY INVEST
The main reason for purchasing a share in Mehmas x Quick Chat is to become involved with a potentially high-class 2yo and to share in the fun and enjoyment of racehorse ownership with leading syndicator Shamrock Thoroughbreds.
This is also a commercial venture with a view to potentially winning a maiden and selling her privately or at public auction at the end of October and hopefully returning a healthy profit.
HOW IT WORKS
The syndicate will be divided into 20 shares of 5% each and each shareholder can buy up to a maximum of 6 shares or 30% of the horse.
This filly will race under the name of Shamrock Thoroughbreds and will be put into training with Ado McGuinness in Lusk, Co. Dublin. A WhatsApp Group will be set up to enhance communication purposes between the syndicate manager Stephen Thorne and each of the 20 shareholders.
The filly will be named by each of the syndicate shareholders and each shareholder will have the opportunity to come up with a name for her
PLAN
The aim is to give this filly 2-3 weeks off post sale as she has been through a tough 12 week preparation for the breeze-up sale. This will allow her time to adjust to her new surroundings.
We will then begin her fresh preparation and the plan will be to run her in a maiden over 5 or 6 furlongs in the next 8-10 weeks all going well.
The ultimate goal is to win a maiden on her first or second start with a view to selling her privately. In the event that this does not happen, the plan will be to lightly campaign her in order to protect her value with a view to selling her at the Autumn Horses in Training sale at the end of October.
COSTS
The cost of purchase for each 5% share is £3,650 pounds sterling. This includes the sales purchase price, full screen blood test, 6% sales auction commission, 5% buyer commission, 4.8% VAT, sales vetting costs and transport costs from Doncaster sales to Ado McGuinness Racing Stables.
The total training fees, veterinary fees, insurance and HRI account funds for a 5% share until the 31st October 2021 is €750 euros and those costs are listed below.

DIVIDENDS AND AGM
Each shareholder will receive a statement of accounts at the end of the 6-month term and any prizemoney earned will be divided among each shareholder at the end of the term, the 31st October 2021.
There will be a Shareholder’s discussion in early October 2021 to decide if the horse is sold via public auction or put back into training for another 6 month period. There will need to be at least 80% commitment for the
syndicate to continue for another 6 months, otherwise she will be entered for the Autumn Horses in Training sale in Newmarket at the end of October
