The Total Recall Racing Club have plundered some big races over the years and landed another major race by winning the Irish Lincolnshire with Bowerman. Ronan Whelan kept it very simple through the race and came with a well timed challenge at the furlong pole. He won with a good bit in hand and looks ready to take the step up to Stakes Company.
“He is a class horse and has had a brilliant prep coming into this. I was delighted to see the race rescheduled and this was always the plan. He is a fast ground horse and stays a mile very well. He has a big future and I’m delighted for the Team at home. My apprentice Stephen Mooney has done a great job with the horse and I’m thrilled for his owners. They have been very lucky with me over the years”, trainer Ado McGuinness commented.
This proved another shrewd purchase for Shamrock Thoroughbreds who sourced Bowerman from the Tattersalls Jules Sales in 2019 for £38,000 from the Roger Varian stable on behalf of current connections.
