Dundalk has been a very happy hunting ground for many years now and last Friday was no different as Bowerman claimed the biggest win of Ado’s career to date in winning the Group 3 Dubai Diamond Stakes over 10 furlongs. He was given a fantastic ride by Colin Keane who sat patiently towards the rear throughout before making his move early in the straight and picked up powerfully to beat Sky Seven by half a length.

“They went good and even the whole way. The horse quickened up well for me and he really enjoyed the new surface. I think he is a very smart horse”, commented winning jockey Colin Keane.

“I am thrilled to get this result tonight, the biggest win by far in my career and I owe a lot to my hard working Team at home. Bowerman will have a small break now before preparing for a potential tilt at the Bahrain International Trophy in late November”, commented Ado McGuinness.

It was also a landmark victory for the Total Recall Racing Club who have been very loyal supporters of the stable over the years and have had a lot of success with the likes of Beau Michael, Beau Satchel and Beau Warrior.

Bowerman was successfully purchased at the July Horses in Training Sale at Newmarket in 2019 by Shamrock Thoroughbreds.
